Yoga as a method
for all your challenges
When one finds the true essence of the process of asana, the process of mindful being, the direct impact on daily life is profound.
The process of asana says: move with the initial focus of mind. Once mindfulness is engaged we begin the first step, the movement toward the vision of what we wish to do.
Then as the journey begins, be it a large step or a micro-movement, it does not matter. Your mindfulness should be toward the following: What is it I am asking my body to do? Am I committed to this experience? What do I have to do to move deeper into the experience? What needs to happen? How is my breath?
This is the “process” we speak about as yoga itself. Remember, asana (postures) without intent is not the practice of yoga.
What is truly exciting is this. When we begin to master the process of asana, when we realize our true potential and strength to the nth degree at any given conscious moment, we can begin to be our best at anything and everything.
Even something we’ve never done before can be mastered, or at least done with surprisingly great results by incorporating this strength of mindful communication of mind, body, spirit.
Remember, everybody’s different, so go at your own pace in life and most important, have fun with it!!
Living in Rhythm
energetic processes, part two
My Esoteric Message
In my last newsletter, I finished with the idea that chakras are an essential element in determining our health, vitality and prosperity. The way we keep our chakras clear is through our deliberate thoughts and actions in our highest joy.
Moving into our highest joy however, has a direct relationship to the ability to follow the natural rhythms of our body. Many times called “bio-rhythms” there is an eb-and-flow of emotion and energy directly related to the natural energetic rhythms of our planet, our moon our galaxy and our bodies.
The entire universe is cyclical in nature. There are cycles that affect everything in our lives, from times of peak creativity to times of potent healing, best times for sleep, emotional stability, nourishment, etc. These cycles overlap each other in waves. Where some cycles come monthly, others can be hourly, yearly and so on.
So think about it, if we truly want to be in bliss, and have the clearest path to that state of joy, we would want to acknowledge and flow with our natural rhythms. In other words, fighting against what is naturally occurring within your emotional, physical or spiritual body can bring distress.
But how can we flow with our natural cycles (everyone’s cycles are different) if we give our time and energy to another’s agenda, desires and/or schedules?
Well for one thing, there are varying degrees of how cycles affect our day so we can still find harmony with others even though our cycles may clash. That is why creating a society that allows an individual to maximize their experience on earth in their own rhythm can lead to an evolution of planetary harmony like we’ve never seen.
In today’s world, the “corporate agenda” has not been designed with the human “being” in mind. Instead, humans have been boxed into limited ways of being, like small pieces of a giant machine. It is true some individuals find great security and joy in a 9-5 lifestyle. But even the ideal 9-5 candidate will at some point, need freedom to be human.
Ultimately, if we wake up when we’re done sleeping, sleep when we are finished creating, take naps whenever we need a rest, eat when our body is hungry, work when our energy is ready, be romantic when our passion is stirred, we will have a taste of true bliss as a life-long experience.
This, is the mission of the awakened ones…YOU! I say this, because by simply having an interest in this subject, you are of the mind that we are much more than we have been told and posess far greater power than we have been led to believe.
In the great energy field we posess, through the power of our unlimited mind, with the magnetic field we share with the universe, we can begin to create a new reality for humankind. And it all begins with finding and living within our rhythms.
To find harmony we must first be in tune.
at some point…we know.
Love is Divine Power
Because we are essentially spiritual beings, our spiritual needs are as crucial to our well being as our physical needs, maybe even more so. We are by nature, loving and compassionate beings who thrive in an atmosphere of tranquility and harmony.
